Coco Antonsisen brings extensive experience in accelerating the uptake of space-based applications. Working at the Netherlands Space Office (NSO), Coco is involved in shaping national strategies to stimulate the adoption of satellite data across public and private sectors. Her work spans the development and implementation of strategic programs for user uptake of space based capabilities. By connecting policymakers, knowledge institutions, SMEs, and end users, she helps translate space technology into operational, scalable information products.
Drawing on hands-on experience with innovation funding instruments, cross-sector collaboration, and lessons from Dutch and international initiatives, Coco shares practical insights on what does and doesn’t work in driving adoption. Her contribution will focus on actionable do’s and don’ts in user uptake activities, highlighting the importance of co-creation, problem-driven approaches and sustainable business models.
