As a senior advisor on Water Governance for the Blue Deal programme, Liesbeth Wilschut brings scientific expertise and practical experience together to support water authorities around the world. She coordinates six partnerships in Southern Africa and South-East Asia, working to strengthen institutions and accelerate integrated water resources management through the Blue Deal, a joint initiative of the Dutch Water Authorities and the Dutch government.

Liesbeth holds a Ph.D. in remote sensing and landscape epidemiology and has contributed to numerous international projects focused on land- and water management and climate adaptation.
