Angela Brouwers is a Sustainability Investment Officer at Cardano. She specialises in sustainability research and stewardship, focusing on environmental topics such as biodiversity, zero-deforestation and water management. In her role, she analyses companies’ sustainability performance and engages with investees on behalf of clients to encourage stronger environmental practices that support long‑term value and align financial returns with a more sustainable global economy.

Angela has over 5 years of experience in sustainable finance. In her previous role at Morningstar Sustainalytics, she advised large financial institutions on the integration of sustainability analysis into their investment decision-making processes.

Angela previously worked in human rights and civil rights at Amnesty International and the Council for Refugees in The Hague. She holds an MSc in Business and Economics: Sustainable Management from Uppsala University in Sweden.
